DIYbin.com, is a customers worst nightmare. We had recently ordered a few components from this distributor, happily awaiting our parts (Reported as InStock at time of order). The order had been deemed awaiting fulfillment for quite a while. Our attempts to contact them several times lead to unanswered emails, a few more days the item was still listed as awaiting fulfillment “websites definition of which is that they are gathering the parts/items for the order). We eventually had to file for a reversal through our bank to get our money back.
Hobbyists, and DIYer’s are strongly suggested to stay very far away from this “Distributor” they claim to have good customer service, yet the only way of communication between the supplier and the customer are via an email form, of witch constantly goes unanswered. The site lists a Po Box instead of a physical address which should seem fishy to any customer “some reputable small suppliers work well this way” but they all have decent or good reviews from past customers. There is no phone number to contact the nonexistent customer service. the research we did trying to figure out if this was just a bump in the system lead to numerous bad reviews since the company opened its doors in 2011, there have been reports of a few lucky people getting what they have ordered from DIYbin.com but the rest are left unanswered and unfulfilled.
Overall we give DIYbin.com a (1 out of 10) Rated for Poor or nonexistent customer service, and unfulfilled orders.
